Reality = sitting in ICU due to S.O. and alcohol
The friend / ex bf / complicated relationship is in critical but stable condition right now. He's on a vent and unconscious. This is because of his sodium levels that were dangerously low due to massive drinking. He could die. I hate seeing him like this. It is a true wake up call for me personally with my own alcohol issues. I hope he pulls through and wakes up as well.
If you're considering drinking picture your loved one on a vent, blood poring out of their mouth from biting their tongue during a seizure. Bite bad enough that blood was almost needed.
That drink is Not worth it.

He is in ICU. He's still critical on the vent. He's hooked up to all kinds of machines. I'm staying here with him tonight. They actually allow one person to stay. He has no one else and I'm not leaving him all alone!!!
So sorry to hear about your friend, Sinderos! I think if any of us were spend any time in an ICU job shadowing or just visiting loved ones it would make us think twice a bit more often. The grim reality is that there are so many alcohol-related deaths every year.
