Day One
I have recently decided to get clean after a two and a half year addiction to heroin. I finally realized that I have so much to lose and ZERO to gain as a result of my addiction. I want to rebuild my life while I still have the chance and while the good things in my life are still intact.
Welcome to SR duenorth528. We are here to offer support and encouragement, so post often. I don't have any experience with heroin, but perhaps you need professional help in quitting.
Wishing you all the best.

Hi Duenorth , Its great you know you want to get clean and glad you came here .
First time iv'e mentioned this on here , my oldest son was a heroin addict for 3 years been clean for 4 years now with good job , nice home , 1 year old boy .nice Girl friend ,nice car ,works out regular . All of the good stuff would not have been possible had he not made the decision to get off that drug . I hope you can find the support to help you succeed . Thought id tell you this cause it can be done if you want it bad enough .
