Sao, thanks for understanding on the work stress. We all have stressors, I totally get that. I know I'm not "a special snowflake". But damn. I have an appt with my doctor, mid-June, to see if there is more we can safely do for my anxiety. Depression? I have that whipped. And I no longer have true panic attacks. But this rattling, circular, stuck crap? Hope I can fix. I am trying meditation again. We'll see.
We'll send the Mounties if you don't check in.
SUID, I hope you feel better soon. Same for you, Bix.
Marty, cool about the date! Good for you both for chalking up a good chunk o' sobriety before going back "out there."
Poor Dizzee. So daft. And yet she brings so many smiles to faces of people she's never heard of.
Off to a reading with a friend in a while.

On a darker note, two people were killed in an auto accident *very* close to where I live at about 3 a.m. today. Perhaps it's a combination of the cold and feeling better, emotionally, but I slept through the night ... didn't hear sirens at all.
Both were the sole occupants in their cars. I'm guessing alcohol played a role ...

Yah, Fine...
Seeing the massive ~1,600 Year-old Redwood Trees was OK. However, below is the Trip Pic to end all Trip Pix. The Side Order I had this Morning as part of Breakfast: Dark Chocolate Covered Bacon! $6 for 3 Pieces. Just take me right now Lawd; I got nuffin' else to lust after in this Reincarnation. I've experienced some memorable pleasures in Life, and that Bacon made My Personal Top Five! It was served cold outta the Fridge, with Berries & Whipped Cream. I had no idea that was the Presentation, but it sho worked for me! Lawdy...
Walked around this old Railroad/Mining Town, and took in the restored Buildings. Lotsa Galleries, and Disposable Income interspersed with some Full Time Trailer Folks appearing to just squeak by in this RV Park. Gratitude 101 came to Mind, as Weekenders here work a smidge to dredge up things to be thankful for. I know that Gratitude Drill, since I sometimes have to work at it, too.
Plotted out our Driving Day tomorrow on Google Earth as a massive, cold Thunderhead looms above us. MesaDog is enjoying a large Plot of newly-mowed Grass, and we've got all our Provisions stocked for 2 more Days on the Road.
With a high level of Certainty, I can state the Skeleton Pic is of a Deer. We have them on our Land. One identical Skull I found is on the Deck leading to our lil Gym/Guest Cabin Building. Probably no Santeria involved.
Welp, here comes the Rain; complete with that wonderful smell. Time to bail inside and warm up...

Wow, stormy here...took a little bucket out to what I optimistically call my sepsis pile..no that is not right...my Compost Pile. Incredible lightning, really close. Scooted back to the house. Got a little hail coming down now. What a strange and wonderful May here.
