I have cauliflower in the steam basket - going to make a cauli mash with garlic, steamed carrot coins, salad and pork tenderloins for the missus. I do have my priorities in order. Need to start some laundry today too...
Maybe I'll get an hour or two of fishing in around sundown.
I thought this looked interesting sitting on the counter so I took a pic. wally world had avocados for 88 cents a piece. Nice sized ones, so I got 5 of various stages of ripeness...

My family is going out of town this weekend on a neighborhood father/son type of fishing and camping expedition, so I will be completely solo with the neighbor girls texting me to come out and play.

Plans: yoga tonight. Long hikes Saturday and Sunday afternoon. I have a couple of good books I need to read for my new job, which begins the day after Memorial Day (Tues, May 31). Maybe a bit of shopping for a few new clothing options for the new job. Go and visit my parents (they are non-drinkers) with my beagle.
Walk my beagle. (walks are the ultimate thrill of her existence ) Continue watching psychological thrillers on my Amazon Prime.

The old threads don't get closed, they just die a natural death. They are only closed by a moderator if they go over 500 posts.

I went back to bed and slept finally. I ate nearly 4000 calories yesterday. Yeah. Not getting on the scale for a couple days. But my hike should be hulk-like today. I will fly up that big hill.

Oh, yeah. There is another "sober bus" thread that Dee has going, too. So that would be three.

This one is the Weekenders to me. I don't think about the bus part a whole lot. Buses don't have good memories for me.

Part of how it works comes to mind " we thought we could find an easier softer way but we could not " I got off the bus and ended up worse than I was 6 Months ago .
