This is from a couple years ago.

Mexican drug cartel behind lime shortage in US | myfox8.com

All I know is whenever I hear news about El Chapo, I start looking at avocado and lime prices. Pavlovian response. Or should I say Guacamolean response... womp womp..

Yeah I did some googling and found some articles about "blood avocados." Great. Now I'll feel bad buying two of my favorite things on the planet.

Evening everyone. Perfect day tomorrow to go fly. Whoo hooo. If I was still drinking there is no way it would be possible. Yay for sobriety.

The mob controls the extra virgin olive oil industry in Italy. I saw a documentary about it not long ago. Pretty fascinating and eye opening and most of what we buy isn't really evoo. We're being duped!!

I could live on avocados and cheese.

Glad your daughters ok and home with you Marty.

I'm going to bed. I'm exhausted. Buenos noches amigos!
Xo

The avocados banged down on the roof of my rental house for a month straight while in Honduras. I still love avocados.

Avacados = good.

I'm calling it a night, folks. I really hope this is the last day of the cold.

My sister says avocado toast is something I really, really, really need to try.
Best get to it if the prices are headed up.

If no rain tomorrow then the pup and I shall head to the local street fair. If rain, then I shall stay in and watch television and cook.

I am heading for bed soon as well.
Lucky that candy crush and words with friends can be done from a horizontal position.

Good night everyone. ...I missed pages due to The Killing. Love that show.
I'm so happy that it's Friday. Tomorrow I'll do volunteer work at Special Olympics. Am looking forward to it. Then a neighborhood picnic in a park. I never would have done all this fun stuff while I was drinking.
Yay for sobriety and an active life!
I hope everyone is well....have a good night's sleep.

I'm going to try and get some rest. Night all.

Everyone's going to bed already? wow .

I went to a wake after work. It wasn't bad. My Mom also came with me. She insisted on driving. Was nice to visit in the car.

I've eaten absolutely nothing but junk today. Maybe I'll eat all good things tomorrow.

I love guacamole. I never noticed the price increase. That's interesting Melina.

Marty I'm glad your daughter is feeling better. How scary. I've had one panic attack in my life. The other times, just straight up anxiety. Panic attack was awful. Very nice to have both kids home under one roof. How is Dad doing lately? is that going OK?

Nothing going on tomorrow. I was going to a dinner but I'm not sure now. Maybe gardening.

Good night everyone.

I did get out on the town with my brother and my cousin this afternoon. That was fun. Had some great food on a patio in the sun.

I was thinking the same thing :/
I'm off for the weekend and the forecast is cold and rain.
I don't want to sit around for 3 days doing nothing
