Gratitude. My AA sponsor says "A grateful alcoholic doesn't drink." As I get ready for school today I am grateful for the things I have. I thought of all my SoberRecovery friends and thought I would come on and post. Very grateful to be able to wake up and not have to be addicted to drugs and alcohol. Life is good. Was just thinking of ya all :-) Life is especially pleasant when livong in the present. It can get stressful when living in the future. One day at a time! SoberLife |
So very true. Thank you for this! From time to time I ponder on the keys to happiness. I strongly believe that gratitude is one of them. |
An attitude of gratitude, the advantages of outrageous optimism, These are things which help keep my sobriety on an even keel and easy to manage :) m  |
Good stuff |
Nice post to read before I start my day. Things are so different now. It's been a tough battle to get here, but well worth it. Being thankful is putting it mildly. Hope everybody has a nice day. John |
