Welcome!

There sure is lots of information available here! I am an AA member--do you have questions about that program?

Welcome. I use kind of a 'fusion' approach. AA twice a week (well just started back), posting here, I see a social worker/counselor when I need to, mindfulness and yoga, nutrition and as much fresh air as I can get (sounds kinda silly but walking in nature is amazing). Oh and my list. Haha. I have a list written out each day....filling my time from the time I get up to the time I sleep. This helps my anxiety a ton...

Keep reading around. When you find someone that has what you want, emulate them!

Welcome aboard 21, I use the cafeteria approach with my recovery. After many years of trying I settled on a combination of IOP (intensive out-patient) treatment, a couple of AA meetings a week and SR. I also throw in a SMART meeting every once in a while. I found that mixing it up like this, keeps my plan from being stagnant. I went to the IOP to start with several days a week and tapered down to weekly group meetings now. It took me a while to find a plan that works for me, but it feels great now and was worth it. Don't get disappointed, it might take some time to get into a groove. Best wishes to you.
