I have so much to say, but can't. Not comprehensively at the moment, anyhow, which makes me sad (yes, I'm crying!). I obviously don't know how not to do this, but I need to. Before I'm dead, among many other things. It's not a new fear.
Welcome Cherrybreeze. Believe me, you're among friends who understand exactly how you're feeling. Please keep reading & posting. It will get easier. You can heal and get your life back.
Hi Cherrybreeze, I spent a few grade school years growing up in De Pere.
I'm going to assume your problem is with alcohol. You can confrount it. I'd like to suggest you try an AA meeting. I believe you'll find the folks there very welcoming. Here is a link to meetings near you. >>>>> Meetings

Thank you for the link. Is it bad to say, nice to see someone nearby in a football town with a drinking problem?? I honestly don't know where I am, or going.
But thanks for the welcome. I want so much to come back with positives!

Welcome! SoberRecovery is a really great place to read other people's experiences and get feed back. I am almost at 10 months and every single time I come here I still find something new to think about, implement into my recovery, or just to consider.
The first step is deciding that you don't want to live that way and that you have a problem. Once you quit, everything will start to go up and up
You can do this! Read around and share when you feel ready. We'll be here for you when you are.

Welcome Cherrybreeze.
I did some regrettable, embarrassing things when I drank which I would never do sober.
The good thing is now I wake up and there's no hangovers, no regrets, no misgivings.
Life is so much better without the booze.
We're here for you , 24/7, always someone to talk to.

I was a cheese head till young adulthood. Now I try to demonstrate aloha. Still a packerbacker to the max though.
You can have a better life Cherrybreeze, but you got to put in the work. Start with a meeting tomorrow. There are friends there you have not yet met. GO!
Let us know how it was.
