Life's OverWhelming - But I Did One Thing

I'm really trying hard to try and not put everything on my to do list and feel I need to do them perfectly this time. I'm trying to tackle things as best as I can, but to at least put forth an effort to do something each day no matter how simple it may seem to someone else. There are days even washing dishes seems to be too big of a to-do.

So..... today was a good day because:
I went to the dentist. I haven't been for a long time. My crown is cracked due to clinching my teeth when I sleep. But the dentist filled it in (trying that before going for an expensive replacement) and they actually went ahead and did my teeth cleaning too. I have an appt to go back for a small filling and also a 6mo appt for my next cleaning.
One thing, but it felt like a whole lot to me. I felt like I had really accomplished something when I left.

It's not just doing something, it's doing something for you. That counts for a lot.

I haven't heard the term "baby steps" for a long time, but sometimes that's what it takes. I go to DDS soon.,,hope I get great results as well.

Yes. When we're drinking it seems the simplest things require a monumental effort to accomplish !...if we even make the effort at all. I usually don't.
