Just checking in.
Should have a year sober now but I only have 3 months. Last drink was Superbowl Sunday. For some strange reason I hate counting the days as it seems to give me a false sense of security. My AV tells me I can't be an alcoholic if I can quit drinking for months at a time. I know I CAN'T drink anymore. I want to be sober more than I want to drink. I understand "1 day at a time " now more than ever. I love being sober but I have to keep my guard up with my AV.
