So today is day 50 ☺️ and I attended my first training class at the YWCA to help victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse and elder abuse.
It was incredibly intense material and let me tell you some of those people who work at these types of organizations are angels in our midst.
I am very very glad to be sober and hopeful that I can help others and build a useful, beautiful life through acts of service.
Can I say this again? Oh man I am so grateful to be plugged back into the world on a meaningful level. Alcohol is just the worst, most isolating poison for the alcoholic.
