Lifechanges, great question/post.

Perhaps this will help. Last night (Sunday) I was at an AA meeting. One of the other folks who attended the meeting is the chair of Thursday night AA meeting at the same location. He's a terrific guy with several years of sobriety. He shared last night about his early days in AA. He told he would often show up drunk. He told us he asked the same question as you to the other members and they told him to keep coming back as he was welcome.

Not everyone relapses in AA but a lot of people do/have. In my limited experience folks who are having difficulties stopping are very welcome. I wish you a successful recovery.
