Little reminders
 

I am blessed that I haven't had major consequences related to my drinking...YET. One of my favorite things is watching TV before bed. On a drunken night months ago, I couldn't get the channel to change and in a rage, threw the remote and smashed half of the screen. Sound still works but can't see much. I refuse to buy a new one, because it's a good and daily reminder of drinking consequences, no matter how small. Each night I turn it on, I think: a moderate drinker has never in the history of the world thrown a remote at a flat screen!

And the bad part is if we continue to drink it only gets worse. It can get way worse!!
