staying sober is actually easier than breathing......the only ACTION it requires is a NON-action....DO.NO.DRINK. period. but between our addiction and our mental gymnastics, you'd think we were trying to do quantum physics in our heads or solve one of the top ten remaining unresolved math problems.
so keep it simple. Do Not Drink. and then work on making that EASY.
