Not had a drink for just over 4 months. Still feel unhappy fairly frequently. Landlady called yesterday and said the house i rent is required for a member of her family who needs it and i have to move out in 1 month. Didn't need this at this at this point of my recovery! What a life.

4 months is great....but a tough time. Stick with it, things get better , I was only saying yesterday I feel like a cloud has lifted now just over 5 months sober! But found month 4 very hard going.
As for your house , try and find the positive. Move to a cheaper place or nicer location, take a holiday or house sit for people with pets! Live for free in return of a free house/pet sitter! Keep strong buddy.

Thanks for the sympathy, it makes me feel slightly better I don't mind moving, it's the stress that it will cause that worries me. I won't be making things worse by drinking but can't say I'm over the moon about having to do it.
Congrats on 4 months sober! Even though stress can be a trigger for some, just think about how much better you are going to be able to handle this situation because you are sober, aware, and rational.
Have you talked to substance abuse counselor or psychiatrist about the depression you are feeling? I know once I got a psych evaluation and found out I am bipolar and finally got on medicine for it I was a new person and recovery wasn't half as hard as trying to get into recovery without taking care of my emotional health.
