I am heading off to work shortly but I am going to try and check in from there. Cell is spotty though.
You know the reason why I started Campral three weeks ago? I went to work on a Tuesday and was still drunk from the night before. Horrifying. Glad I am making those days a thing of the past.

I am waiting patiently for my personality to come back. The person you saw last week posting as Lighteningbug is the real me. I was sober two weeks last Saturday and I felt like the real me. Right now is surreal. I am trying to come to terms with what happened. It is stifling me with guilt and regret. I am not me yet.
The Bug will be back soon. The mods can start censoring my crazy again very soon!

I must have saw the wrong thread, but some of the posts I saw from bug last week were a little less than flattering. You sound much better now.

I was driving, couldn't respond properly. I like to write out things to get perspective or to ubderstand myself or to communicate with others. Right now I need to be accountable and by writing everything out here for everyone to see I can achieve that.

I can imagine it's going to take some time for him as well to calm about things. One day at a time .. And hopefully you can get to a pint of calm conversations about how you are both feeling about everything.

That's totally understandable. And those are the things you both need to be able to calmly talk about as it becomes less raw. Use SR for the support you need in the meantime - he is hurt right now as well and may not be able to give you some of the support you need.
I had to explain to my husband that his method of being supportive wasn't what I needed.

Going to work, carpooling with the husband. We work for the same company. Yet another place he can give me the cold shoulder and evil eye.
Carpooling because one of my triggers is the CVS right around the corner from the kid's school. I would pick up wine and then pick them up and then go home and drink it all before dinner. Can't stop at CVS if I am not driving. It is extra help I need. He is still being supportive even though we are on such a rocky path.
Have a good day everyone
