This time last year my marriage of 20 odd years was as good as over due to things I had done. I stopped drinking, he never stopped loving me and time has healed. He says he trusts me again and we are as passionate as we were before. It's me I have the distrust issue with and me I hate. Work it through with your husband, it may be that You just need time to heal x

I am so happy for you having your love back. I can't wait for that.

Time is a great healer but also proving you mean what you say with actions is crucial - if you can clearly see what you have and believe it is worth fighting for then I'm sure you can make things better - this is coming from someone who had all but destroyed our marriage thro a catalogue of errors and could not see what a loving wife I had until it really was nearly too late - I got a final chance when there shouldn't have been one and I'm determined to prove I mean what I say to rebuild the trust, only way that's possible is with sobriety - all my effort is put into making things work - do the same and give it time your actions will show you mean what you say and not just false promises. Never believed in my wildest dreams we could get our relationship back on track but never believed I could do this either - I'm doing it and it's working - you can too.
