Day one:
Hi everyone. This is my first day and first time in an online forum. Today I reached out for help with a problem I've denied myself of having. I take around 12 oxycodones a day. I met with a therapist today and start suboxone tomorrow. I can't do this anymore, I have to get better. Anyways, any advice would be great. I am also expected to go to 3 NA meetings a week. I don't even know where to begin with where to find them etc.

Hi, Nicole, You are on your way to feeling a whole lot better. I'm a former drinker - no experience with Oxy but it is a similar path. Welcome to SR and good luck with your recovery. It was a relief to me to just acknowledge the problem and get a plan of recovery in place.

Just wanted to say welcome and you arent alone. I am on day 4 of no pain pills, so i know exactly how tired, scared, and done you are. I dont have any great wisdom to share. Just wanted you to know it will be ok.
Stick around and post and read a lot here. Ive been doing that, and it really helps. Good luck.
