My new recovery
It has been 5 years since I posted . I now feel I am ready to commit to a sober lifestyle .
Its day 2 and I just had a pretty good sleep . I rang me local alcohol help centre yesterday and they said someone would call me . No one has yet . I did see my doctor about my decision to stop drinking . He felt unqualified to help me with any withdrawal meds I might need so he referred me to the local Drug and alcohol referral line .
Im doing ok taking my Thiamine and multivitamins as well as drinking heaps of water . I should get a phone call this morning form the experts .
