Thank YOU! Thinking before drinking.
I'm on the road for work and got to my destination hotel rather late last night. The only place for dinner was a local brew pub/cafe and I was starved. People enjoying a brew, chatting it up. I used to brew beer, so I can appreciate a good one.
I ordered my food and a water and thought of you guys and all the struggles you've been through and all the sayings I read over and over (ie you have to want to be sober more than you want to drink, one is too many, a thousand is never enough, when is a good time to stop? now. when is a good time to start again? never. etc).
Then I thought about health problems. And the times I blacked out in places like this.
And I ate my dinner and went back to my hotel and to bed sober.
