New member - hi
Hi all. I am a new member. I am 38 male and from the uk. I have a drink problem that is affecting my relationship with my wife. I am drinking in secret and I can not cope with this anymore. I am on here for some help and support.

Welcome to the forums. I'm on day 1 (again) of sobriety and have spent most of the day reading posts on here.
There is so much good advice and support.
I'm on my phone so can't post links but on this part of the forum there is a 24 hour thread where you can publicly state your intention of staying sober for 24 hours (or post at the end of the day or, if you're me, both!!)
In the previous section of the forum is an April 2016 thread where those of us starting our journey this month can support each other.

Welcome to SR, chickenvindaloo. There's a tremendous amount of support to be found here. I also suggest joining in on the Class of April 2016 thread found on the "Newcomers to Recovery" forum. Congratulations on choosing a better way of life!
