Thank you for that.

I did have a wry chuckle at number 16 as I had just sent an email apologising to a lady who popped in to see how I was yesterday lunchtime. Well, sometime yesterday - not sure what time she was here!

Pretty bad when I can relate to them all in the past

Yup, that list pretty much breaks it down. It describes so much of my thinking and behavior when I was drinking. Thank God I'm done with that.

Thanks for posting, SW.

I relate to those. I especially enjoyed reading the comments afterwards. Thanks, SW.

I'm most of them ..I never tried to convince myself I was only having "One or two" drinks though. I always set out to drink as much as I possibly could.

Day 10 today.

That was a good list.

Regularly blacking out didn't apply.... I think.... or maybe I just don't remember!

Thanks SW!

I get an A+. I scored 100% That shouldn't surprise me because drinking was something I was very good at. It was the consequences I could never figure out how to control.

I have to admit I still keep track of how much others drink. Progress not perfection

All of them apply to me too, or they did. I found it was time to stop when I realized that I was putting all of the things that I care about most on the line for alcohol. I didn't want to wait until I lose it all to quit. So, I quit again 9 days ago.
