6 months!!!

I have been battling the bottle for 7 years now. I have quit so many times. I have gone long stretches before, but this time feels different. It doesn't feel like I am white knuckling it at all. I don't have to convince myself not to drink today. Alcohol just isn't a part of my life anymore. IT IS AWESOME!

Im about a month behind you. This is my third "real" try. Three's a charm, 'cause it's the first time at this point that I truly want (not just need) to live the rest of my life sober.

Nice going on 6 months!!!! I hit 6 months today also. I always worried around the 4th month, cause for some reason, my anxiety skyrockets and I also feel like I'm white knuckling it, than cave. For some reason, it hasn't happened this time. Can't figure out why either, but it's a nice change. Again, congrats. John
