Hi guys-
I hope I didn't miss anything today and tonight. After work, I watched The Revenant. ...which was pretty long. It was pretty good. Not as violent as I expected.
So now I'm ready to go to sleep. Tomorrow's another day....

Revenant was filmed in some of my favourite hiking spots haf- at the start when they're on the hill over the river- that's the same spot I post my hiking pics for all of you at xoxo

Greetings everyone. Drove home in 5.5 hours and we're now unwinding at 11:30 p.m. One cat is glad to see us. The other ran out the back door, into the night.
It was a good trip. AV did some acting up but I did attend that AA meeting which helped out. Nice day today. We wandered a sculpture garden, ate lunch then toured the state capital building. Then hit the road. No bear spray needed.

I'm glad you're home safe!
I just got in bed. I pulled an all-dayer today, no nap haha. It was rough, I got crabby at the end there. But I need to be tired enough to sleep through the night.
I can not resist the naps when I'm home, but they can mess me up sometimes if it's too late in the day.
I made a first draft of the menu for the new place. It's not the most creative food I've ever conjured up, but it's a good starting point and will be revised heavily as happens with all menu writing and recipe development. No biggie. The hard part was just getting the thoughts going.
I'm glad y'all had fun on the thread today, I was reading along when I could. I don't like the SR app on my phone very much though bc I can't see who thanks what and I like seeing who is around and reading.
There were a couple people really struggling to stay sober in the meetings I went to tonight. Rough stuff and a reminder to me to be very grateful I have no desire to drink. And to be very vigilant of any sneaky thoughts.
