30 days today :)
I have 30 days today! I got off work early today so I could go to the ladies meeting and get my chip.
It has been a good first month. My sobriety date is March 20th, the Sunday before Easter. I went home for Easter and made it through the holiday sober. Then I started a very strict diet the next day. I never would have been able to do this diet if I was drinking because alcohol isn't approved in the first phase of the diet, not even for normal drinkers. So that has been helping to keep my AV quiet. I have lost 13.8 pounds so far! I am so excited to have found a diet that is actually working for me and I'm determined to get to my goal weight. I also have a sponsor and have done step 1 already. I am working on my 2nd step and have plans to go over step 2 with my sponsor on Sunday.
