Well, making a more detailed plan, calling a therapist or joining a recovery group,
scheduling non-drinking activities when you aren't at work or school and when
you typically use for the next two-week block would be a good start.
You can certainly beat this, but you have to put a lot into it at first to turn things around.
Half-measures didn't break the habit for me and the addiction keeps progressing the longer one delays. . .
