I picked a heck of a time to quit drinking
I have thought that to myself several different times in the last 68 days, as life's trials and tribulations occur. Like there's a 'good' time to quit.
Reality is today, whatever today is, is the perfect day to choose not to drink. Whether it is day 1 or 68 or 500... Drinking doesn't help and it doesn't address whatever the trigger is that makes your AV chime in. Your AV is a big fat stinking selfish liar. Listen to your heart and mind and do what you need to do to stay sober on today, this day, no matter what life has thrown at you.
You are worth it.
