I really don't have a clue what it is about weekends. It's not about using, I did that 7 days a week from the time I woke to the time I FINALLY would fall asleep.
I've been feeling this way at least the last few months.

I really do appreciate you here in the weekend thread, Otherwise I would probably be moping alone.

Maybe because weekends are supposed to be all carefree, fun and happy- if you don't feel that way maybe you feel like you're doing it wrong?
Week days are for being busy, groaning about work, tv shows go back to normal- the routine of week days might comfort you?

How's the weather in Delaware? Sorry your weekends suck. Any change in scenery or habits that would help?

Melina, that would be awesomeballstonium! Or something like that.

Morning all, sunny Sunday morning here in Aus

SUID - I often have a hard time with weekends too. Sometimes I love them, because I get to see my loved ones more, but even then my mood can be quite 'off' which just makes me feel worse (guilt etc). I actually always drank less on weekends so it's not that. Not sure what's up with me there either, but wanted to say I relate

I got to feeling kind of down on days off. Used to be my big let loose time where I could get drunk without worrying about how I'd feel at work the next day. Nowadays I try to look up cool things to do around town...museums, exhibits, botanical gardens, farmer's markets. Man, I didn't realize how many things those sober people did while I was busy getting drunk. I feel like I'm on vacation sometimes, I see so many new things in my own town. Sometimes I'll just take a drive or a bus somewhere new. Man, I have a lot of things to see before I die!

You didn't SUID. I can't remember who said it, but I agree it could be that everybody gets all worked up and excited for weekends, and if yours isn't spectacular it could feel like a let down. I haven't had a full time job in a while, so weekends have been just another day to me. But there's still pressure to "do something fun."

Did y'all miss me?? . I've returned from shopping and dinner and I'm not bankrupt!! Yippee!!

((SUiD)) do you think seeing your dr might be something youd consider especially since this had been gong on for awhile??

Ok so....we now know that Sao's flat can easily hold three people so who's ready for a trip to London?!?! Sao, I'm glad your dinner was a success and you've had a good visit!

Fingers crossed that cardinal finds another window to chirp under tonight!!
