so- have 30 days clean & sober- we are facing a terrifying situation with our grown son- a legal issue that is potentially life-altering. interestingly, it is not threatening my sobriety- determined to do this with a clear head & conscience. but- does anyone know of a forum or whatever that might be a place for guidance in such a circumstance?

I'm not aware of any forums dedicated to legal issues and I'm not sure I'd trust them if they do exist - y'know?

have you seen a lawyer?

Dee- i hear ya....& agree- he has a lawyer, not looking for legal advice- just ways to cope with a lousy situation....

Most of us will have to deal with these issues occasionally. Best to remember that a year from now down the road it will have all worked out. Maybe not for the best but, acceptance seems to be the key to happiness.

I would suggest the Friends & Families forums too. There are great people there who deal with a lot of very difficult life situations.
