So I just did the math........

And it turns out I spent on average 150 dollars a week on alcohol, goodness talk about your AV getting it's way, feeling embarrassed and humbled all at the same time... But I have decided that since I will be saving so much money, I am getting myself a gym membership , I have gained 40 pounds since last year due to the bottle, time for me to make myself healthy inside and out. And it's a good addition to my sobriety plan.

It is amazing how quickly it add's up, I used to be a almost pack a day smoker, quit Dec 30, 2014 and cigarette's at the time were close to $16 a pack, add to that a 15 pack of beer daily at $29.99....basically $1,300 a month wasted.

Have a great day
Andrew

Great idea! Exercise helps keep me sane....I couldn't recover without it. Good luck!

That sounds like a great plan! I brought exercise back into my life after getting sober and it really makes me feel great. Good luck!

Hi Life,
That sounds like a solid plan! The gym has been a great place for me to spend time and I also cannot emphasize enough how rewarding a long quiet walk can be. Anytime I feel stressed or burned out I set out on a walk and return home happier (and more fit).
Good luck to you.
