Aww thanks guys u are so amazing and i couldnt even attempt this without you guys. Im home now pjs on and sitting with my parents but i suddenly have this terrible craving and i am trying so hard to fight it. I feel like screaming it just feels horrible however i am determined to say no i am not getting sucked in again! I cant wait for them to go home really so i can have a vape (my parents dont know) and chill maybe read or knit i also want to watch the affair, loving it xx
Congrats on day 6, Lauraxxx. Go ahead and scream in here. Remember you don't have to take that first drink/drug no matter what. And as long as you don't take the first, you don't have to worry about the second or third or tenth that would almost always follow for addicts like us.
I think using this as a sobriety journal and place to be accountability in your recovery is a wonderful idea. But don't forget to participate in the rest of the forums as well. I especially love the monthly classes. There's an amazing amount of power in the simple act of one addict helping another.

The monthly classes are a great way to learn from and help others who are also new to recovery. Being active in my own March 2016 class has made all the difference in my sobriety this time.
What are you knitting?
