Congrats on day 6 Dave.
Would it be impertinent if I asked for details on what your plan is? lol

I'am giving myself a little rest and relaxation for a few days. I'am just being good to myself and being easy on myself. I'am sure the "Blah's" will lift soon. So I'am enjoying a cup of "Sleepy Time" tea now and waiting for the "Witching hour" of 12 midnight and I'll ring in Day 6...then it's off to bed. Thanks for dropping by. More later. DD
It might be a good idea for you to see your doctor if you haven't already and see if he/she might be able to help. Maybe with some nutritional advice and some vitamin/mineral supplements? From my reading our alcoholism can cause some serious nutrition issues.

Hiya gang. It's been a good Day 6 and I'am looking forward to a week...Day 7 tomorrow.

Fatigue and depression is really working hard on me for some reason the last few days. I got a thing or two done today but my goodness. It totally wiped me out. I took a nap today for over an hour and that is almost unheard of for me. On top of that, I'am going to bed early tonight. 9pm is early for me !

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions offered. I'am sure this is withdrawel and will pass in it's own time. I just wish it would hurry up and do it! LOL...Thats me. Mr impatient!

I'am having a yummy bedtime snack at the moment. Strawberry Yogurt and a banana. Mmmmmm..... Nope!...dont miss the booze one bit !

More later.

It's great to see how positive you are, Dave. I was absolutely exhausted when I first quit - I think it's to be expected after all we've done to ourselves. I hope you get a good rest.

Hi everyone ! THANK YOU so much for being here for me!

Day 7 has been good. As tired as I was last night, it took quite a while to get to sleep. I think the nap yesterday may have had something to do with it.

Soooo....today, instead of taking a nap...I walked 2 miles ! Two was all I could do...for now. Got a few other things done and I'am ready for bed. A little past 9pm here. Early for me as I have mention before but why fight it !

Not a peep out of my A/V...GOOD ! Guess I better enjoy while I can.

I'am ready for some rest. Goodnight.

Well...I'am back to square one. Still not drinking but the last 2 days has had me back to the skin rash and Staph infection that put me in the hospital.

I'am not doing good at the present moment. Saw the Doctor today and he has me on same Anti-Biotic as earlier...but instead of 10 days he's up'd it to 21 days !

Cant do the steroids this soon...so...My typical luck ! Quit the drinking...start excercising and taking care of myself, eating good...and this is what I get !!??...more drudgery, pain and heart break ? Geeeeze. Why bother.

I'am just in a real down mood tonight ! How did you guess.

sorry to hear that Dave. I am glad your sober days are adding up though. That's great.

Keep on keeping on. This is just a bump in the road.

Hope you get to feeling better soon.

Hi Dave,
As stated above.... it's a bump in the road.
You sound great in general these past days. Hang tough.

A lot of the illnesses and maladies I got after quitting probably had their gestation in my drinking days.

Hope you're back to full health soon and stay that way Dave

I'm sorry to hear about your health setback, Dave.

Staying sober will definitely help your body heal.
