Seeking help in benzo withdrawal- Klonopin for 20+yrs

Hello. Could someone please direct me to the right thread/resource to help me figure out how to come off Klonopin 1mg three times daily.? I'm not an abuser but have become tolerant and have experienced withdrawal symptoms.

Trying desperately to find a physician in Johnson county, KS to assist me in withdrawal from this benzo with the least disruption, pain, symptoms to my life. Inpatient. Ashton method? I truly need help.

Anyone?

Thx,
Steph

I was on Klonopin for about 20 years (no abuse). I tapered off with my pdoc's help over about 1+ year. The final dose I was on was a special order from the pharmacy for 0.125 mg dissolve-on-the-tongue version. Best option is to have a doc's help.

Not trying to sound redundant, but a Dr. is the best option

That's a big dose, but most of all the time involved. Please consult with the docs involved. Benzos are very hard to withdraw from. Its possible tho. Don't try to do it alone.
