went doctors

I went doctors today and he has signed me off work because I have other issues as well as the alcohol. I have some underlying issues that need addressing according to him after I poured my heart out. I was a bit embarrassed at first discussing it and it cant have been pleasant for him to see a grown man cry his heart out. he said I have to have a psychological evaluation follewd by a one to one counselling course to help me deal with my self harm and misogyny

Good for you. I wish I had been honest with my doctor and went for counseling when I was a much younger man. Anybody that is drinking like an alcoholic has issues that are driving such behavior. I know until I asked myself why I was drinking that I began to understand and seek help.
