Day 5 and getting somewhere
Lets start by saying it was a much better nights sleep... whew!! I've been dying for that to come about and hope it continues to get even better. I dodnt wake up in a cold sweat this morning thinking it was the end of the world! One thing thats seems to linger however is this foot pain i'm getting bith early in the morning and late at night. Like the soles of my feet are burning and getting achy and annoying throbbing pains. Last night some voltaren helped relieve the pain and let me drift off but i'm hoping this pain gets better on its own and i dont have to take it every night. Anyone out there get foot pain at night from being an abuser of alcohol? Did it get better?
Dim - I had aches & pains all over while withdrawing. It's such a huge adjustment for our bodies, after all we've done to ourselves. Everything got better.
I'm glad you got a decent night's sleep. It was horrible waking up in a fog & wondering what we'd said or done. Congrats on Day 5.

I'm on day four and my knees are hurting, never have before! I'm getting cramp in almost every muscle in my body - I even got it in my throat earlier when I yawned!
I can't wait to sleep well and wake up non sweaty and panicky :-)

Funny, I just started getting foot pains after5 weeks! I wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and it feels like pins and dull aches in my feet.
The one thing that did improve is that I don't have "jumpy" leg anymore.
