The importance of Keep Coming Back!

Went to a meeting today, and was asked to read a slogan...Think this is the 3rd time i've been asked since i've started to go to meetings.

Picked this one : Keep coming back!

Got me thinking, about how key this one is...If you keep coming back, you haven't given up! And usually you're making dramatic progress without realizing it at the time.

I registered on SR back in 2012, things were going crazy in my life...Drink was destroying me, and was REAL close to taking things away from me. (Health, Job, Girlfriend...)

Re-Reading my threads/posts from day one has been eye-opening...I honestly feel like a different man now. Mindful that i'm only 15 months sober...But i feel MUCH more at ease with myself.

AA has helped. SR has helped. Everything has helped...But the only reason ANY of it worked was because i kept coming back!

If you keep coming back, you have a chance for happiness. Just for today.

I hope you all have a wonderful day, Thanks for always being here SR.

15 months is awesome. Whatever it takes for you. I have probably around 25 desire chips and every time I came back my life got better. So I'm back and I'm staying and working the program. Remember it's not just the meetings, it's practicing the principles in ALL our affairs. That's the key for me on this journey. I've stepped off the elevator going to the bottom floor. No need to see any of that...peace...out.
