My DBT skills are self-taught from a book and the internet, but if you have a diagnosis of boderline personality disorder you can probably get DBT on the NHS.
For me, the skills are essential for my sobriety. Things like distraction, acting the opposite, radical acceptance. They cover four main areas, one of which is emotion regulation.
If you've done some DBT, could it be helpful to use it now?
Have you done any Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)?

You'll have time to "play the tape" through of what will happen if you do drink. Forget about the first two hours after you start, and concentrate on what happens once control is lost.
Plus if you can distract yourself, the urge will pass
