6 Days Today
Good Morning To All My Fellow SR Friends. Day 6 for me. And even though the weather Is Ugly here, I'm in South Carolina. Rain and Thunderstorms Predicted All Day. But Inside Me The Sun Is Shining ! This is the best I've felt since stopping my use of pills. Feel Very Hopeful, Extremely Grateful and Confident I Can Do This. But I Realize "Not Alone", I Need You All As Part Of My Support System. I will continue to Post Daily As Per My Commitment . Although I'm still A Newbie, Reading Post From Other Newcomers Remind Me "The Struggle Is Real". And That Using Comes With A Huge Price.....Misery! Reading The Post From Those Who Have Managed To Get and Maintain their Sobriety Gives Me Hope. Allows Me To Believe Whole Heartedly I Can Once Again Do This. Accomplish The Same As Well. Even Though It's Just Day 6 That's "144 hours" That I Have Chosen and Managed Not To Use Drugs ! I'm Excited About The Future Yet Remember For Me It Has To Be.....One Day At A Time ! ! ! No Pills For Me Today. Here's To Another 24 Hours Clean. Day ! Thanks Always For Your Continued Support. Let Us All Try And Make It A Great Day !
