Online sponsor?

Is it possible to find a sponsor online to have be there and help support in recovery?

I've not yet been to AA and I don't have many people to rely on that fully understand and can help. I hope there is someone out there. I'm trying to stay sober, but something seems to be in the way of it. And I suppose that is myself.

i think you should get some courage and go to some aa meetings.
in the big book of aa it says:

We thought we could find an easier, softer way. But we could not.
half measures availed us nothing

there are MANY people at aa meetings that understand and can help.

im gonna agree that its you in the way.
but there IS a solution!

AA has a forum where I believe you can find an online sponsor. Just google E-AA. That will get you to the forum; once there, you will have to do some additional research and searching.

That's a great question although in someways I see everyone who replys to my posts at SR a sponsor as they give me support.

AA and NA sponsorship is an up close and personal thing.

In my experience it works best when we can look each other in the eye. I needed to see what recovery looked like.
