MY Body says STOP!

It's the beginning of day 5. By the way I feel, I realize my body has put up with too much. After this last one sudsides, I honestly do not believe I have another round of withdrawals and detox left in me. But, it's typical for the way I've lead my life. Things have to be at their worst for my ego driven, self centeredness to take notice. I've used up all of my free passes and fun tickets. I want that joy of sobriety again. Even when challenges occured, sobriety allowed me some patience to deal correctly with them. Addiction is a one way street with a cliff at the end. Thank God for the few ways to combat this hell on Earth...

Thanks! This too shall pass. Bottom line is to get busy and take action. I know all about keeping a yard nice, but if I don't get out there and start the lawn mower, it's going to ugly real quick...

Well done on your 5 days, Scott. Yard work - that'll be a good distraction. Keeping busy is key. Glad to have you here.

Hi scott! I read through your other posts -- looks like you've tried to quit many times before. Congrats on 5 days and pushing on!

What's your plan for when you start to feel better and the voice starts telling you it's ok to drink again?

Congrats on five days Scott! If yard work helps, I'll support you. My yard is at your disposal! Hang in there or hang over.
