JSB - We have your back here, no matter what.

You're an adventurer. One of a kind. A free spirit and free thinker. And you're going to show your rebel streak by...drinking alcohol? Why not explore new cities in Asia, hike the mountains in Alberta, or dive into the Mediterranean? You just got that cool writing book. Use it! Write a book, a play, a sketch. Learn how to drive a motorcycle and drive across the plains of Saskatchewan? Ski the Alps. Learn how to sail and take a boat from Maine to Key West. Start a revolution. Join a movement. March in picket lines. Heck, get your freak on and join a cult like Tom Cruise in 'Eyes Wide Shut'!

These are all bold, noble, deviant and crazy things. These are the things that people will remember you for. These things are what make you a legend, in your own mind and in the minds of others.

Compared to the options above, buying booze at the local Pump 'N Munch gas station is pretty low-brow. It's a hell of a lot easier, I'll grant you that. But it's a pretty sad place to start an adventure and it's all downhill from there.

Maybe you can amp up your support with a group in your area? There are tons of non-drinking, rad, crazy, hard-core deviants out there who are high on life. Good luck and I hope you get through this really tough time. Sorry to hear about your struggles, and hope you can push through this frustrating time. Please let us know you are okay.

Excellent post D in the second quote I thought that was similar to something I read
last night in beyond the influence at the start of chapter 11 relapse prevention it has a quote from Robert Downey Jr which is 'stopping isn't hard. Not starting again is.

Jen I don't know what is going on and I hope you update us asap

What a powerful morning. I am overwhelmed and only out of bed 20 minutes.

Dee. Thanks for sharing that with everyone. I will want to read more of his.

In fact it inspires me to put some thoughts down myself.

Work week at the door step. I am looking forward to several larger tasks. I feel blessed to enjoy what I do and excited to arrive. So let me get this body presentable. This mind? Well... It will be here with you all.

Good morning, folks.

Interview is in an hour and a half. I'm trying not to be too nervous. But I am a bit. That's probably good. I don't want to appear sanguine about it. I'm sure it will go fine, it's just that I REALLY want this job. It's perfect for me.

Cheering for you, Marty! Let us know how it goes

((((Jen)))) Some of the most eccentric and cutting edge people I've known are non drinkers. Booze isn't a requirement for living any particular lifestyle. Check in when you can sister...we love you
Xoxo

For the first time in a really long time I don't feel anxious about work on a Monday morning! I'm not going to analyze it, I'll just go with it! Yay!
