Hello, newcomer here. My husband who has a history of heroin addiction before we got together relapsed 4 months ago and I finally put two and two together and confronted him 10 days ago. Monies are gone trust was already an issue because I caught him having an affair about 4 months ago. He started outpatient suboxone and we are living together. What boundaries to I make for myself? What should I be doing now? I am in individual counseling and we started marital counseling after the affair was revealed. I appreciate any help I can get. Thank you.

I'm sorry for what what brings you here, but I'm glad you found us

I don;t think there's any right or wrong answers on what your boundaries should be - I'm sure you have an idea of what you expect from a partner.

I think it's reasonable to expect fundamentals like no affairs and no monies being taken out of shared accounts for drugs.

Hopefully people with more direct experience will chime in here.
