What do you like to drink?
While I was drinking alcohol, and thinking about stopping, I always wondered but what shall I drink instead??
My fridge is full of strawberry milkshake, sparkling fruit juice and btls of blackcurrant.
What do you drink instead? xx

Coffee in the morning always.
During the day I drink mostly water
ocassionaly with GV great value peach
green tea metabolism flavoring added
as well as my CytoSport Muscle Milk 100 cal.
as an in between meal supplement.
Every once in awhile ill have a
Lipton Diet Green Tea, Mixed Berry
in a bottle.

1 cup - Earl Grey, hot! In the morning
Pelligrino on ice - during the day
Chamomile/herbal teas - at night
When I got sober, I cut out soda and coffee. The caffeine is a trigger for my anxiety which is one trigger for my drinking.

When out and socializing, perrier with lime wedge
Work/home decaf coffee
Water, a rare diet coke,
Chamommile honey tea
I think that's about it.
If there's alcohol at an event, I usually quickly get my hands on a large tumbler of soda water with lime or a touch of cranberry juice. Once it's there I feel safer and my thoughts don't wander.
