help!!!
add I joined because I need help. My son 26 is having some severe issues with anger management. His actions are becoming more difficult to reside with. I am trying to find 12 step program that he can join to find solutions to his problems.. If you have access to a program or know about one it would be appreciated to hear from you. Money is limited.
I think joining a group would help him resolve some of his issues with anger
Thanks

Does he have issues with substances, like alcohol or drugs? That's what AA and NA are for. Has he ever had counseling? Anger issues aren't really addressed specifically in 12 step groups, they focus more on the addiction. Altho the 12 steps are a program to live by so could be useful.
I would recommend anger management counseling for him. And perhaps something for you, so you have an outlet for your dealings with him.
Welcome to the family.

Welcome Lostboys, sorry to hear of your issues. Is your son seeking help himself? It's a great idea for you to seek resources of course, but he will need to be willing and want to go in the first place.
Just about all 12 step programs are free and have locally organized meetings, your local phone book or newspaper would be a great place to start.
A quick google search may bring up some local resources for you as well.

Welcome, and I, too, would caution you that your son will need to want to seek help for himself before he can begin to heal. This is not something you can do for him. I hope you and your family find some peace.
