Commitments are Great!
I'm almost at six months and took on some AA commitments in short order. In a month I was making coffee and had a home group.
In 3 months I was chairing a meeting every saturday night. Chairing the meetings has helped me in dealing with anxiety and learning to be a sober adult again. I love the feeling of helping other addicts and drunks and seeing the hope in the eyes of a person with a couple days sobriety.
I'm still early in and it's my second time around but I've been in much longer than before and taking it seriously this time.
For me jumping in with both feet this time was the way to go!
