Back from my meeting and kids are driving me absolutely crazy. I'm taking them to the park. Then I'm going grocery shopping.

Venecia, thanks for that link. It's interesting and totally not surprising. I watch First 48, I know a few of the Minneapolis homicide detectives they follow from when I lived up there. And the legal aspect is expected.

OK, park time. SU, I hope you feel better.

Just tasted the chili again. Sitting overnight has mellowed the heat. I think it's going to be just fine! Just put it back in the crockpot to get hot - I need to be there in 2 hours. I was at the club for a meeting this morning, and someone decorated it for the chili feed. It's so cute! I'm getting excited!

I am hooked on "The First 48." I can understand the legal issues. Not sure which side I come down on, though.

Lucky you didn't use your Thaw Master for your chili meat, MLD. I hear it adds heat to your meat.

I'm sorry you guys are feeling under the weather. I'm feeling crabby. Kids are really not behaving very well. Testing limits.

Just watched Trumbo....good movie about a piece of American history I didn't know much about. And I love Bryon Cranston. Now I think I'll return it and get Suffragettes. It's a good movie day!
Ruby...make your kids run around a track a couple of times. That should mellow them out!

ROFL that was a good one!

Sorry Rubes, kids testing patience is a tough one. I hope you get a moment to yourself today.

The beekeeping forum was really good! The first speaker was way too technical for that early in the morning, but it got better and better by the end of it. Potluck lunch was decent and I swiped two little tangerines for later cuz thug life!

A nap is going to happen bc I am on the couch and that's how I roll.

xoxo

Episode 2 of John Adams. Powerful indeed.

Finished work for the day.
Just had a flax bread sandwich with avocado, tomato, cream cheese with strawberries and blueberries! It was really good!
Dinner is just baked chicken, veggies and salad again.

Gonna take a break and the go workout outside a bit.
