Extremes
Yesterday I awoke with the now usual knots in my stomach, the evening before my OH had been nasty and the thinly disguised threat, "move out, I own this house and no longer want you here" was very present.
I could hardly concentrate at work, the weight of fret and worry, really heavy. How can I provide security for myself and my daughter (and my dog), going round and round in my head. I managed the day somehow.
In order to stay out of the house longer I went to see a friend, a friend who knew very little of my situation as she's friends with both of us. She felt I had worries and pressed me, I caved and told her the lot.
Well............. amazing ...........within a hour her husband was sent off to talk to an associate of theirs, within 2 hours I was viewing a house and calling my daughter to come have a look. There's a few details to sort, but I'll probably have a place to move to very soon!!
The power of friendship! The power of reaching out and asking despite reservations! A bad start to a day does not necessarily mean a bad day.................................. and on.
My budget will be a tight as a drum and will not allow for drinking, not a bad thing eh?
I wish you all an amazing day!
xx

Thanks so much Dee & Delilah, (and all). Busy times ahead, I hope to get out of here unscathed, but I know his personality will resent the lack of control now and I'm nervous. However.............. escape is very near, a new life calling and clearly I have some good mates, all things to be grateful for. The sun is shining here today, my dog is lovely and my daughter is out on a trip and happy...........
Onwards!

Far, maybe you shouldn't share you're moving with him until right before
you go?
Or even get your stuff out with friends while he is at work or out of town?
If you think he will try to find other ways to hurt you until you go,
it might be a good idea.
Great job on moving forward and having a positive attitude

This has idea been rattling around, should I say when the house is certain or wait until the last minute.
I have stuff everywhere in the house, on the walls, in the attic ect.......... he's going to notice me packing for sure. I think I'll get as much in place as I can then say. All this will be over soon.
Thank you for your concern
