Sweet dreams all!

I read the online edition of my paper. I was too lazy to get up to cross the room. I should have just not looked. Politics and gang violence. Oh, yay! At least some of the news was that arrests were made in a couple of the more heinous recent shootings. It never seems to end.

Me too, and why I don't have a tv, I tend to find out the important stuff via word of mouth , the rest I don't need to know.
Except I tend to keep an eye on world politics.

Geek Boy, here, has listened to Shortwave Radio fo evah. Now, many Stations broadcast online. Good to listen to while doing other things, and/or to learn another Language.

On a related Topic, see at the bottom of this Webpage a diverse set of Countries where Alt POVs can be easily accessed.

Mesa I play a shortwave radio all day too.
I have my grandpa's really old one! Older than me I think!
It plays all day everyday just as good as new!

Night gang, good to have a few posts to read here before turning in. I'm not super tired just yet, but I have to be online at 6am tomorrow to start in the salt mines. I have a few good audiobooks that I am going to listen to for a while in bed if I am restless.

Last few days here in Guatemala before jumping on some more tiny planes and hitting the high seas out to the keys in Belize for a couple weeks. I "have to go" because my travel visa expires every 90 days and I must leave the country for a period of time. My normal routine has been Costa Rica but I'm switching it up. I'll be knee deep in the Caribbean by this time next week! In the meantime, I'll make do with the nice 78 degree (25c) temps here in the Land of Eternal Spring.

Don't forget to make sure your clocks are in order, folks. Sounds like you are all on the ball, as sober people usually are! Wonder how many active alcoholics are forgetting to take care of the little things tonight...I know I was one of them. I hope those tired souls find a way out. And I wish harmony and peace in recovery to everyone here on this night.

Hope you get some sleep BigS. Safe travels to you. Belize sounds nice.

Hitting the hay here. Hopefully the rain stops by tomorrow. I will need a boat to get to the train.

That was a very powerful and moving documentary jen. It's a shame that things like that can take place in modern society basically because of greed and power.

Then of course the, basically, Russian invasion, they can call it whatever they want but it is an invasion.

It's a sad sad world we live in. It does make you realize how good we have it for now, who knows what the future holds.

Hi guys!

I missed everyone's whole day! I hope everyone feels better who is under the weather, has a sick kitty, had to brave the chilly and rainy day here in the Midwest, had to deal with a dangerous person, or had to deal with a mother who is hard to deal with.

I was with sober chef all day. We were out and about all day. We went to his place to watch a movie after and I never got a chance to talk about us not seeing each other. He's not a bad guy at all, he's lovely, so it can wait.

I'm going to help a former chef of mine in a test kitchen this week banging out some recipes for a new place he's helping to open. I can't wait to be in a professional kitchen again and doing what I most love. I'm excited!

Tmro I meet with my sponsor for the first time for us to start step work. I am very optimistic and happy about this.

I did leave sober chef's house in time to make it to a late meeting. It was a very good meeting and it nicely punctuated the end of my day.

I have a bellyful of ice cream now and it's time to floss and brush and relax.
