No doubt Weekender March 11 part 1
hey, hey, hey...
slept well, no dreams last night... I did turn on netflix and they were advertising the new pee wee herman movie... so I decided to watch pee wee's big adventure - pure genius! if you can get over how silly/goofy it is, I just watched it to analyze it... then I discovered that Pee Wee's Playhouse, all five seasons are available... it's very trippy to say the least, hmmm,
For no reason, when I first woke up this song started playing in my head:

I got to wash the wifemobile today, I didn't since the accident, and the insurance never called back. Time to call them...
good to see you mns1
I really liked the Double Fantasy album....
HaF - I tried broccoli two different times. Never got broccoli to grow that was edible...
Credit controller? cooking the books eh...
Sand Dunes NP - my wife and I kinda made a 'goal' of seeing as many national parks as we can... we didn't get the 'passport' booklet but we shoulda... we visit at three places a year that qualify for a stamp... in our five years together we'd have over thirty stamps...
have a great day...
Weasel, still thinking about a new ride?

Happy Saturday enders! I was thinking this morning as I was walking my pup that I used to think getting wasted at the bar on a Friday evening was my way to unwind from the work week. I've never settled in my mind that I'm able to find total relaxation over the weekend since then for some silly reason. I need to focus on what I consider total sober relaxation methods now. So far I'm thinking drinking coffee, browsing on the computer and still in my comfies as pretty darn relaxing
Blue skies and warmer today in Vermont...whoot!

Good morning everyone,
GS, I am so envious that you got to see the cranes at Great Sand Dunes. I follow the national park on FB and have seen some stunning footage lately. Great time to visit there!
Congrats, Wayward Son! That's a great milestone!
Bodhi, since I am old enough to be your -- cough, cough -- sister (much older sister), I do hope you're exercising considerable caution with your prison pen pals. I'm sure they're very much on their best behavior from behind bars, but they're there for a reason. And some get out. OK, lecture over.
Sao, well, well. But do take care of your heart.
A FB page that tracks life on the Mississippi, which has branded itself as Wisconsin's West Coast (and is quite a delightful place to visit), noted that there have been tons of eagles at a few spots. I'm up early to go back home and then take Mom there. Hopefully, we'll see loads of birds and it'll be a good time for Mom. Also a nice chance to get accustomed to my new zoom lens.
Back to Great Sand Dunes. I went there about five weeks into sobriety and met dear friends from the Boulder area. Although it got harder to stay on the wagon (which is how I came to SR and, ultimately, you fine folks), that trip was something of a turning point, one where I started to believe in myself. Lots of personal value in that trip for me.

I'm excited about my day today. Meeting at 10:30. Then home to pack up to go spend the night at my Mom's (empty) house. A little trip to a nearby town to hike along a pretty river. Same town has a fantastic natural foods store that I'll hit to get some supplies for my overnight. I reserved "Room" at the movie kiosk to watch while I'm there. It will be nice to get away, even if it's only 22 miles away. It always feels like a mini vacation when I stay at my mom's.
Good morning! Well, I finally got to sleep at some point last night.
I can take it easy today.
Congratulations on 6 months, Wayward!!! 6 months is fantastic.
It looks like a beautiful day outside. ..gonna get ready for the dog walk. Will have to start walking on the streets soon cause the rattlesnakes will be out. My dogs love to run free on the trails, but rattlesnakes are nasty creatures.
