So just home from the doing my Mothering Sunday duties, card/present, numerous cups of tea, it's all good, a very relaxing afternoon!!

Anyways felt I had to share this tune, it was on the radio on the drive home, does anyone else google lyrics to find out what a tune is when they have finished driving? . . . nope, just me then!!

Not a big fan of "christian" music, and not sure if this could be classed as so . . . but when rock n roll meets anything, including references to Jesus, I'm pretty much sold.

Never heard of this band before but this tune was kicking with the volume cranked up!!

Melina - I don't think you have done anything to deserve the treatment you got from your friend. I have had some "friends" tell me similar things about not being a good friend to them in the last couple of years. Yeah, I admit I've been sort of absent. But damn- I've been through the wringer and I needed to just take care of myself for a while. They knew what I was going through - they offered tepid support but didn't actively seek me out to be there for me when all I wanted to do was hide from the world and lick my wounds. I'm not blaming them, and they shouldn't blame me. Not sure if that resonates with you at all, but that was my experience. I have very few friends now. And that's ok. I'll make new ones.

A picture from my hike - my town from above. I can see my house from up there, but it's not in this picture.

Melina ~

Your 'Pal' is a *Pro*. She's putting the *Pro* back into *Projection*. Which is what she's doing to you: Projecting. Her Baggage about this other Person that she thinks you ought to side with her about.

This Wise Pal of mine explains it this way...

Let's says someone cuts you off in Traffic. A potential Pisser, to be sure. Restated, said Traffic Event happened at a precise point on Earth that one can designate by GPS. Said Event happened at a particular Time. You know, 'ordinary' Time. Not that 24 Hour Military Time stuff that confuses Brynn.

That's it. That's all there is. Anything else we overlay on to such an Event is all some Category of Baggage we superimpose upon a Situation. Whether it generates bad feelings. Flipping off the thoughtless Driver. And, any number of Folks who will emotionally tell you that they roared ahead to cut off that thoughtless Driver 'who deserved it'. Convinced of their Sanctimony.

My Pal's Concept is very powerful. Not easy to deploy every Day. But, simple.

Your Pal is laying Guano on you. Projection 101. You're experiencing quite-understandable Emotions in return. All of them overlayed onto an Event only in Space and Time: her SnottyAzz e.mail.

Process and Detach, if you can, and let it drift away into the Ether. Just like that Drinking Urge we have, but that we do not have to act on if we Detach. Either she'll get it together, or she won't. Ideally, this ought not to affect you getting it together, eh? When you let someone like this into your Head to control you and your Emotions, that's arguably the worst kind of Control there is. She's already stolen enough of your precious Time - which you can never get back - by making you feel bad ever since you received her e.mail.

But for the ladies-
I got
Origins eye cream
Body shop vitamin c capsules for skin
Vitamin c skin booster
Tea tree face toner

And grapefruit body butter.
For free I got a soy milk face cleanser and peach lip balm

Omg love Sephora and the Body Shop! Have fun Jen!

Mesa nailed it. ((Melina))

On my second nap of the day. I'm so exhausted i don't even feel guilty for sleeping the day away. Have to peel myself off the bed to take my brother to work soon.

Great photo of your town Marty!

I'm in love with that baby turtle! I'm a sucker for any and all babies!

I'm hungry and fajitas and pizza both sound good. I wish Mexican food delivered like Chinese and pizza. Wonder why they don't?

I know it was back a bit, but I just had to add to Trach's socks.....I decided about a year ago that too much of my time was being spent searching around for matching socks so I decided no more matching.....if you add the time up that I save over every day for the rest of my life you get a whole lot of life to live because you aren't wasting it matching socks!

Oh good soberp! Im excited!

I don't know if I mentioned it yet, I rebooked my flight to Atlanta- june 6-20.
I wonder how much money I should plan to bring? I'll camp a lot, rent a car, I can eat pretty cheap.
What do you southern people think?

Also, where is the airport? Is it outside of the city? Should I rent a car from the airport or one from the edge of the city.
I'm scared of driving through LA, so I'm assuming Atlanta is just as bad.
I'll ask trach too

It's south of the city, Jen.

No idea about money. I haven't traveled in a long while. Last trip out of the country was to Mexico City over ten years ago.

Maybe I can meet up with you somewhere along your trail for an adventure.
